About Us

Our
Mission

US Cyber Bridge is an organization to systematically bridge the gap in cyber education and workforce development from K-12 to doctoral programs to respond to the following goals of the 2023 White House ONCD’s National Cyber Workforce and Education Strategy:
• Equips every American with foundational cyber skills.
• Builds and aligns existing federal investments and programs.

Cyber Career Development

The US Cyber Bridge program provides the much needed faculty and peer mentorship and professional development activities so the students can successfully transition to the next stage of their cyber career from high school GenCyber or JROTC program to PhD programs through the CAE-2Y, CAE-4Y and CAE-R schools possibly with the support from NSF CyberCorps SFS and DoD CySP scholarships, with a specific focus on women and minority participation.

The effort is being led by the PolySec Lab at Cal Poly Pomona as a national framework based on its participation in existing federal programs such as NSF CyberCorps SFS, N-CAE CD, DoD CySP, NSA GenCyber, ONR NRTOC and JRTOC cyber programs. The design and implementation of the program is supported in part by National Science Foundation.

2

The College Cyber Bridge program provides a faculty mentor network and professional development activities for CAE-2Y juniors who may have participated in programs such as CyberCorps SFS or DoD CySP program to successfully transfer into a CAE-4Y program possibly with continual support from CyberCorps SFS or DoD CySP program.

3

The Grad School Cyber Bridge program provides a faculty mentor network and professional development activities for CAE-4Y juniors who may have participated in programs such as CyberCorps SFS or DoD CySP program to successfully transfer into a CAE-R program possibly with continual support from CyberCorps SFS or DoD CySP program and pursue a cyber security faculty career.
